Find out if you are eligible for opening a bank account in Portugal with us!

Updated this week

With evolving banking regulations, our assistance in opening bank accounts is limited to specific individuals. This is subject to change, and we’ll ensure this FAQ remains updated as new policies are introduced.

You’re eligible for our help in opening a bank account in Portugal if you can answer YES to the following questions:

  • Is your passport issued by one of the countries listed below?

  • Are you currently living in one of the countries listed below?

The countries can differ as long as they’re among the ones listed below. Thus, someone holding a US passport and living in Argentina can use our bank account opening service.

Please note:

  • Banks might ask for more information and documents from residents of countries they consider high risk, possibly causing a delay in the account opening process.

These regulations only affect our bank account service. Our assistance in obtaining a NIF is available to anyone.
